| For those who love to
piece quilt tops but
do not have the time
or equipment to quilt
them, Quilting
Matters offers a
machine quilting service, which includes
edge-to-edge, borders and custom quilting. |
| Your pieced top will be professionally quilted
with no need for marking or basting. |
| We offer an extensive range of continuous line quilting
patterns designed for interlock. They will not look like row
upon row of the same pattern but fill your quilt top from top
to bottom and from side to side with a beautiful design. |
We have over 2000 patterns to chose from including blocks,
corners and borders. |
| Custom quilting is also offered using any of the following
quilting techniques:

 Patterned meander (e.g. Leaves and loops) |
| Motifs (e.g. Feather wreaths, individual block designs) |
| A range of freehand designs (e.g. Swirls, feather, flowers) |
| Continuous curve borders |
| Basting Service |
| If you prefer to quilt your own tops, but don’t like putting
the layers together, then bring it to Quilting Matters where it
will be basted with large stitches, ready for you to quilt
either by hand or machine. |
| Binding Service |
A binding service is also offered. If you wish to avail of this
service, please supply sufficient uncut fabric. Double folded
strips of fabric will be machine sewn to the front of the quilt
with a 3/8” seam allowance and neatly mitred corners
your binding can be finished by hand or left it unfinished
for you to complete at home. |
| Bespoke Service |
| Quilting Matters will also design and make quilts for your
home, children and as gifts in colours to suit you. Each piece
is unique and costs vary according to design and materials. |
